It was Expected so LPD should forget
What are your deep comments about this? Is this not political robbery? I still believe Simon Nyachae could have honored his agreements. We regret so much for poor decisions we made. Remember we were warned about this. Okeyo, I once said in this forum, and I'm going to say it again because it has now come to pass that my observations in the way Mig. Kibaki handled the distribution of the plum jobs (PS's) for example, without the blessings of MoU, shall soon hit the (snag) wall of concrete and steel made of (Legislative branch). I made the observation that as soon as the house gets to work, the executive branch (State House) shall realize that there are so much power (veto) the legislatures have over the executive. That, the legislatures shall NOT pass most of the bills if such bills are only to serve the interests of the president and the kitchen kabinet. Thus, it shall be very easy for a camel to go thro' an eye of a needle before the chief executive and his kitchen cabinet attempt to make any unwise decisions thinking they shall just romp thro' the legislative wall. By the way, I even went thro' the pains of translating the real meaning of NARC in our national lingua (Kiswahili). Which I said, NARC stands for National Rainbow Coalition. In our lingua franka, it translates from back to forth as "Muungano wa Makabila ya Taifa (Kenya)". Thus, the word "National" stands for Kenya (Taifa), "Rainbow" stands for many tribes, races, casts, genders, creeds and religions (Makabila) in Kenya. As it is evident with the Rainbow Coalition of Rev. Jesse Jackson in the United States. Rev. Jesse's Rainbow is meant to bring all the races in the United States under one roof eg Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Oriental et al, but it is not taking away their Socio-cultural and politico pride. It is NOT telling them as we are being told in Kenya to forget about our ethnicity, but it is encouraging the people (especially the American Black) to embrace more about their ethnic values. And therefore, they even picked up a name to identify with their origin (African Americans) Instead of being called Black Americans. This is because "who" we are, is very important, and we can not let go off our tribal values because of a political posts which lasts, but for 5 years. That, the people of the United States can all agree to work together as the people of the United States but they are still who they are, proud of their heritage. The American presidents are always expected to appoint to the position of the plum jobs eg Judiciary, the Kabinet, secretaries etc based on their racial distribution. The president who fails to do that alway run into a concrete wall of racial propensity and goes down in history as the worst that ever ruled. In Kenya, our coalition stands in for our unity (muungano) and that is why our leaders signed up the Memorundum of Understanding in the presence of a commissioner of oaths (Rachier & Co Advocates) so that nobody violates the oath of understanding. As we can see, that oath is already been violated by those who don't think it is important ( the six Amigos around the president in the state House) These Amigos are the ones scanning the peoples CV's and then decide whom to pick and whom NOT to pick. These Amigos were not in the fronline of the battle for the removal of the KANU regime. Whoever they are, golfing buddies, DP magnets, we never heard of them until recently when they were positioned in the state house where they are now blocking the legislatures from confiding with their boss on issues of national importance. Somewhere else, I did say that we can see NARC from a very simple logic. In Kenya, we have a national football team called the Harambee Stars. Harambee Stars is a team comprised of members of our local clubs. These members are considered to be the best of their clubs. So they are recruited to play for the Stars. But, that does not mean they quit being members of their respective clubs. They don't say "now I no longer belong to the Mathare FC because I'm playing for Harambee Stars". If the villagers of Mathare hear this kind of statement from one of their scions, they will hunt him down like a rat and kill him. He is a complete disgrace. They want him to go back and show the pride of where he started his career. As for the MP's, Kenyans are now samrt with their voter card. Such an MP will never see inside the house on the hill again. Even tho' a player is free to deny roots of his beginning, it may not augur well with the residents of the Mathare village where he was raised, and given that legacy. They won't like his attitude, and perhaps may be he won't have a shoulder to fall on when things go wrong. They will definitely not accept him back. Grassroot support is very important and our parties DP, LDP, FORD-K and many others don't need to die out. These are the organs that makes the NARC body functional. Some people now wants parties to be disbanded because they no longer need them. How then will we have good players for the National team? What kind of stupidity is this? This Wanguhu Nga'ng'a is working for the devil. Kenyans need to be ware of this kind of person. He is dangerous. Bwana Okeyo, I don't want to say anything on Nyachae, Nyachae needs to be in the cold for a long time, so that next time he will know how to work with other people. A person must learn how to work with others. So let him freeze. Harrison Wayoga Albany, GA. Ka in gi mari moro ma di wandik ka to orni
