Carolina ODM - K USA Invite

Dear Kenyans,

We the people of Kenya wrestled Kanu out of power by our votes and influence in 2002. President Kibaki then promised our country 500k jobs, equality in distribution of national wealth, reduction in corruption and crime, a new constitution in 100 days of assuming power and many more.

What we got in his 4 yrs in power is an increase in insecurity, an anti-corruption chief Ringera earning Sh.2.5 million per month (while more than 70 percent of Kenyan live in abject poverty) to investigate his friends, the Arturs, firing politicians that got him to power, practicing tribalism in all civil service hiring and many more. It is time Kibaki Toka.

Remember the Constitution referendum of 2005, the Orange won and thereafter formed the now Orange Democratic Party of Kenya (ODM-K). Millions of Kenyans are striving for equality, socio-economic justice, economic freedom, and the rule of law, national unity and community solidarity by establishing a democratic, transparent and accountable government that will institutionalize these values for the benefit of all present and future generations, and these are what the new ODM-K party stands for.

Political contributions are a way in which we Kenyans abroad can be valued on the ground. It is with this spirit that we formed ODM-K USA, NC chapter last month joining other branches already existing in the USA. We intend to support the final nominee for odm-k presidential candidate and urge all members to actively support a candidate of their choice. This is your democratic right. We hope our leaders with have a consensus on a nominee than go through a rigorous delegate conference. If the cardinals can come from a grueling debate and eventually emerge to say, "we have a pope", they should be able to do so and say, "We have a presidential nominee. In any case that is how Kibaki is now the President.

Odm-K presidential aspirants Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Kalonzo Musyoka ,Uhuru Kenyatta,Najib Balala and Musalia Mudavadi have been invited to attend. Food will be served.
