Re: [KOL] Re: Tuombee Taifa: The Kenya Prayer Group Thank God that a man like me is not God. If I were God, there are some prayers that I will refer back with a note saying, "Please don't disturb me. These problems are of your own making and I have given you the brain power to avoid and or solve them." That will be as much I would do. Why are we bothering God! He has bigger fish to fry like giving a homeless child a mosel of bread, making rain, etc. Our problems eminate from creating gods out of men (for they are all male) and kneeling down to worship them. We we hate the truth with a passion especially when it is to do with our gods. We love these gods more than we love ourselves. A Tugen who was opressed and sentenced to poverty by Moi's misrule will readily give his life for Moi. Anybody who dares touch their Moi is an enemy of the Kalenjin and must be dealt with. Our greed has divern us into poverty. We often sell our votes for a satchet of salt. It is not uncommon for a typical Kenyan to steal that which was meant for construction of roads to buy himself a Benz which he will gladly drive through the potholes. His argument will be that a Benz's suspension system is designed to handle Kenyan potholes better. What about fixing those potholes in the first place? We have become worse than the fisi that eats its own guts after being speared by the hunter. Before you pray for Kenya, tell Kenya to reform. No amount of prayer will change the corrupt leader who was elected by an equitably corrupt voter. may be that is why God has not bothered to hear our 40 years of prayer!
