I also get delighted by the tales you spin in this forum. However, I am not as much in love with the same as my friend Orina Namwamu.

I bet when you are an Olympic athlete, you live by the rules; you run on the track. Thats when you can win the gold medal. But when you run off the track, however fast you will run, you will never win any medals.

You are off the track.

Now, my take cannot be on Raila. Kenyans have never elected him to be the Hon President of the Republic of Kenya. My take has always been with the person I gave the job; the person I voted for to be my president.

In voting for him, I clearly gave him work to do, work which he must do. I even gave him control over my tax. He controls it and allocates how my tax is used. Besides that, I gave him the power to appoint other Kenyans into key state institutions.

When this man fails, I cannot run away from reality and start blaming Raila Odinga for the man's failure. That cannot be. And I get surprised when Orina Namwamu, of all the people, join in aplauding Rodgers for being insightful; just for always blaming the wrong man for the presidents failures.

I remember last year when Hon Kibaki went to coast province, on the company of Kibutha Kibwana, and purported to issue out title deeds to the landless of coast province. People aplauded, but when it downed on them that Kibaki actually only gave title deeds to Kikuyus living in coast, the people turned against him.

Mosaisi can blame this on Raila Odinga.

I remember when Kibaki made all appointments and in the process saw only Kikuyus, Mosaisi will blame Raila. And Orina will aplaud Mosaisi for being a rare gem.

When all available contracts are being given to the Kikuyu only, Mosaisi will dig into the achieves and come up with some tales about Raila Odinga, and Orina will sing praise to the lords. The focus will not be on Kibaki the man.

When our taxes are being expropiated, for all practical purposes, Mosaisi will never blame the man misusing our taxes, he will blame Raila Odinga. And he will find a willing acomplice to celebrate with him.

Man, the age when Kenyans were not able to notice such things is long gone. We are now in a modern world, where within 2 seconds, I will be in full knowledge about what Mosaisi does in New Jersey. We are in an electronic world, where we can talk with someone living in Australia despite the time desperity.

Again, we must thank the likes of Raila Odinga for having fought for all these freedoms, freedoms that make us share our ideas with people who are living in a dead time warp.
