In Defence of Jaramogi

"Jaramogi made a mistake to have given Kenyatta the leadership. He should have allowed TJ Mboya, to take power as it was suggested by the British. He came out clear that Communist was his food, and Kenyatta was second God and without him (Kenyatta) there is no Uhuru. So he gave the only one COAT Luos had away. He died regretting it."

Rev. I differ with you here. Jaramogi was unselfish, a true patriot and a complete Kenya who had no tribalism. The British were fearing the revenge that they perceived to be coming, after they had tortured the Freedom fighters. Kenyatta proved them wrong. Jaramogi demonstrated to them that only Kenyans alone determines who shall be their leaders! That was the best decision that Oginga Odinga made! It was never a mistake. Rather, Jaramogi was in class of his own. That is a fact that shall never be taken from Jaramogi.

What went wrong is that Kenyatta was mis-advised and like Moi and Kibaki they were too stupid to see that, the people of Nyanza had, the best of intentions for one strong and united Kenya. I would not agree with you to take the best of Luo people and term it as the " mistake "

On communism, I strongly object! What we are trying to do now in Kenya-Distribution of the national resources among the State of Kenya, is Communism-Socialism indirectly. Canada as you know is a socialist welfare state! Successful states such as the states of Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland, extending as far as the Oceania - New Zealand and Australia are all practicing the art of Socialism - Communism indirectly. Comparatively, Kenya, Jamaica and the 1804 Black republic- Haiti. The truest non communist states, verses Communist-Socialist Cuba. Cuba has been under embargo and blockade from the vicious Americans, since 1959. However, Cuba is much advanced in all the fields of the developments, than all of the non Communist mentioned countries. Communism is not the issue here. The capitalist idea of things is " get as much as you can, and leave every one without ". Jaramogi wanted a Kenya for all Kenyans, with equal opportunity. That is noble!

Is it not true that we all want a better Kenya, where every region is developed equitably? By the act of giving the only coat, the Luo people had, Jaramogi had made an eternal statement , and that is Luo people are in the class of their own. True Kenyan patriots. A people that can not be tribalised!. Why would you want to take away from the Luo people that prestige-that demonstrates what a true leadership should be like!

We, all Kenyans should present a united front, to remove the bad leadership. I mean a lame man like Kibaki , is a disgrace to continue to lead a dynamic educated and vibrant society like Kenya.

Kenya needs a real leader who knows the distinction between priority and the issues that are not of priority. Jaramogi had showed the best example of thinking about our Country first, even if it meant giving away the only " Coat " that was too valuable for the people of Nyanza
