Your assertion of Minister Kimunya is well taken but I wonder if you actually raised these pertinent issues that is so convincing and if at all the Minister had an opportunity to respond. If you're analysing after the fact, then indeed it is a disservice to us who are reading this for the first time and yearning to know what actually was transpired.

Remember minister Kimunya is a trusted a government spokesman and indeed would not give any signs to degrade his government. His PowerPoint presentation, I hope was well crafted to achieve just that. Kimunya is die hard believer of president Kibaki and he is a trusted emissary. I have read testimony from his prior presentation, ostensibly from intelligent people who I happen to know and were actually overwhelmed with his presentation, apparently not knowing it's actual intent. There is a different between well planned presentation and actual implementation of such speculative wishes.

Finally, don't worry about Ambassador Ogego. His tract record speaks more than words. He has shown how to sing the song and maintain the rhythm, otherwise he would have been called back to Kenya long time ago and miss the horrendous pleasure and prestige.
