Re: Building Africa from a broad . --- Absalom Birai wrote: Although life in diaspora has proved to be challenging in many ways, each one has at one time or the other attempted to do some kind of project back home. Some of the attempted projects have been: 1.Building a house. 2.Buying a piece of land. 3.Operating retail business. 4.Buying and running matatu. 5.Sending clothes to help the poor and needy ones. 6.Fund raising for church projects. 7.Sending tuition to needy students. Congratulations to each one of you for the great sacrifice and a job well done. I know through experience that it has not been easy. Knowing how hard each has been working, one thing bothers me a great deal-finding honest people to carry on various projects.Do you know where to find them? It seems to me that each one does a good job swindling from you, such that by the time the project is done,if ever it is,you have spend more than the project was worth. And so my question is, where do we go from here? Shall we keep on working hard and loosing money in such a manner? Just a thought. Your friend and fellow traveler.
