VILLAGE CELEBRATE THE BIG DAY.

Family friends and relatives yesterday converged at St Philips Anglican church NYABERA for the wedding celebration of Mr LABAN ONYANGO and Miss LEONIDA OORO.

Mr ONYANGO is a son to the late Mr AUGUSTINE KOLA and Mrs DORIS ANYWAYI KOLA both of KARATENG’, NYABERA village while Miss LEONIDA is a daughter to MR MARICUS OORO and Mrs JENIFER OORO both of NYAKACH, KABONDO village.

The ceremony conducted by Rev ONG’INJO of the Anglican church of Kenya commenced at the NYABERA church and climaxed with reception at the groom’s home in MBAKA-OROMO village.

Conducting the ceremony the rev reminded the couple of the challenging task ahead of them in maintaining their marriage especially this era of H.I.V /Aids scourge.

He urged the couple to embrace salvation their lifetime pillar charging the couple with responsibility of maintaining their relationship till death separates them.

On her part, the groom’s mother encouraged the couple promising to stand by them in their trying moments of life.

Meanwhile Mrs OORO charged her new son in law with the responsibility of taking care of her daughter LEONIDA till the end of their lifetime.

After the couple were declared man and wife amidst applause from the congregation the ceremony extended to the groom’s home in MBAKA-OROMO village whereby friends and relatives were treated to various dishes before departing at their own pleasure.
