Jaluo in Uganda Hi, I comend you on the great job wiht your website. The Jaluo community living here in Ug are having a blast with it...in a way connecting with home. I am Uganda, living in Kampala, but my mother is Luo from Siaya. I have visited Kenya so many times, but each visit isnt long enough for me to get a grasp of the language. I am very interested in learning it and understanding some of the articles in this website. Is there a way you can have some of the English translations posted as well? Also, do you know of anywhere I can get a Jaluo-English dictionary/ frase book in Nairobi, Kisumu or Kampala. I would be glad to hear from you Thank you. Elvina. Thank you for pwoch! There are two ladies that I remember have emailed us over the last two years that they have published a Luo dictionary. I hope they will provide more details where you can buy one.
