GRANTS WECHE MOKADHO ; |
In response to Leo
Odera.
=====================================================
I
read your letter
and I feel a bit discouraged. I would like to begin by saying that God
willing
my vote is with Agwambo. For us to move forward then we have to think
broadly. We
have to move from the culture of imposing candidates on the people of
Kenya. There
has to be fair play in party
nominations especially in Luo Nyanza
and I know Hon Raila knows that. The past is spilt milk but in the next
elections fair play has to prevail.
Bwana Odera the Raila
Loyal members of parliament
that you are talking about have no title deeds
to those constituencies. MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT, are elected
to represent their constituents not party bosses. Subjective loyalty is
what
has been our undoing.
We have to
be loyal objectively to avoid sycophancy. Where our leaders err we must
correct
them. At the end of the day we are all humans but with different
capabilities. Let
candidates on both sides of the divide face the electorate
without intimidation.
Let
the electorate decide. We are not stupid. We can judge sell-outs from
real
leaders.
