Dear All, I am shocked by what I read in this blog. Perhaps it would make sense to me for those who have been writing hear to answer this question empirically and qualitatively. Kenyatta ruled this country for 15 years while Moi for 24 years. From the two communities that these political leaders came from; how many ordinary peasants died of hunger, lack of basic health care, dropped out of school and suffered from deficit of such other essential services that determine the human dignity of a person? Did either of the two represent the respective communities they came or represented a certain segment of society that today Kibaki represent? An ordinary Kikuyu, kalenjin Luo, Kisii name them are struggling to get a daily bread. When tribal clashes occurred in Rift Valley and parts of Western Province it is these innocent Kenyans who suffered and upto date they are still suffering. When Coast people talk of squatters and absentee landlords, who are the real squatters? It is the same ordinary peasants who are landless and whenever a piece of land is available to settle the landless, it is the group that is represented by Kenyatta, Moi, Kibaki, Raila, Ruto, Kenyatta Jnr, Kalonzo etc that benefits. Sample this. Government set aside some money to buy land and settle the squatters. The first beneficiary is Hon Njenga. He pocketed Close to Kshs. 400m for selling to government a piece. How did he acquire such en mass piece of land? What is moral standing for him to be a government minister and at the same time doing business with the same government? Is it the ordinary Kikuyu who benefited or a just the same clique? I think we need to get out of box. The beginning point is to prepare the country to commit a political generational suicide. Put your energy whenever your are and help Kenyans to transform their country collectively by seeing the issues at hand in multi-prism. Please I urged you stop treating chronic disease with panadol but dissent and resolve historical problem! The answer is not Kibaki, Uhuru, Raila Ruto, Kalonzo name them. It is the same gang. The answer lies elsewhere.
