  I share similar sentiments with the writer. There is no such thing as a Kenyan
Nation State.We need strong Regional Autonomies within a Federal state with
powers over Juduciary, Police, Administration, Economic Policy, Taxation and
Territorial Army(National Guards). This way it would deter external threats and
maintain internal self governance. The so called Kenyan Instituitions would
remain with Defence and Forein Policy, Federal taxation and some form of
transnational resources like waterways, Civil Aviation, Shared Regional
Resources etc.

  Kenya as has an Anti-Luo poise. You can not even trust those now in ODM from other communities; I suspect all they want are Luo votes for the next elections to propel them to state House, after that things will just remain the same for the avarage Luo man/woman in the village and City.

  A Kalenjin Associate of Biwott and a Parastatal Head, once told me in 1996
that in future Luos will just be workers while themselves, Indians and Kikuyus
will own all the Resources and means of production in Kenya. Perhaps this
strategy is the drving force for rapproachment between Moi and Kibaki: To keep Luos on Check!!

  As far as I am concerned and I have said this before, secession ema biro
konyowa. Through secession, we can establish a proper democratic state that
reflects who we are as a people and provides fair, equal, and honest
opportunities for all.
