Yes,we finally launched an umbrella organisation for all Kenyans.Let me add that the meeting was graced by among others:the Nigerians association Chairman, the outgoing Tanzanian Association Chairman,& Mr Kwaku the CEO of African Foods Market.  We are looking forward to engaging you in more interective discourse on Social,intellectual,economic & political issues.

On behalf of the interim officials of the now launched Kenya Community in
Minnesota, may I thank all of you for coming out in such great numbers to
witness the launch of this umbrella organization whose purpose is to provide a
national forum where Kenyans from all regions can come together and participate in our struggle to better our social, economic and political well being in Minnesota.
 
Special thanks to the following speakers who represented their organizations in
the meeting:

2) Hercules Otieno - Chairman, AKIA
3) Cliff Koskei - Chairman, Kalenjin Association of Minnesota

As many leaders who spoke at the meeting said, "this is an organization whose
