SECRETARY GENERAL CONGRATULATES DR ASHA-ROSE MIGIRO ON UN APPOINTMENT
Appointment comes at crucial period in global developments- Mwapachu
EAC Headquarters, Arusha, 17 January 2007:
The Secretary General of the East African Community, Ambassador Juma Mwapachu
has sent a message of congratulations to H.E. Dr Asha- Rose Migiro, former
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the United
Republic of Tanzania on her appointment as Deputy Secretary General of the
United Nations.
Following is the text of the congratulatory message to H.E. Dr Asha-Rose
Migiro, Deputy secretary-General, United Nations from Amb. Juma Mwapachu,
