A response to Tom Wolf of Steadman -Re: KT Article

Mr Wolf

Please understand us, we are Kenyans looking for a better Tomorrow for our
country and continent as a whole, therefore we urge you to do the right job,
conduct your polls but do them in the best way possible with results that reflect the true feeling of the Wanainchi.

Get to the truth and to the bottom of things and also get understanding. Understanding is when one draws a picture in his or her mind to see all things
clearly with the third eye, the mind. To absorb what you get from knowledge and break it down so that you and all people will understand. Your polls are ill
Representative and we can allow you to use them as a propaganda machines to
dissuade and confuse the masses or propel others to where they don't really belong.

Bwana Wolf, if I may we must build a better world, teach the young and old, use natural resources to uplift the people, not to make individuals rich, but to put the Human mind back on the right path and get rid of sick white superiority
complexes and racist mentalities.

You must have wisdom my friend when you conduct such polls: Wisdom is the manifestation of one's knowledge, the ways and actions one uses to make his or her knowledge known. To be wise, you must choose the right path  know right from wrong and teach others to be wise and set them in the right direction.

As far as I understand it you opinion poll results  are more than just finding a way to keep Kibaki in power and propel Kalonzo to # 2 spot but it's geared keeping African in it's third worlds State.

  Asante Sana
  Peace
  Bob

          Dear Mr. Nyangweso,

I respect your right to express your views, but I would encourage you to find
out more about the methodology used in these surveys.  For example, I am curious whether you have the same view of the two Kenya Afrobarometer surveys?

You can access them via: www.afrobarometer.org , Working Paper No. 33 (2003 survey) and several shorter one (Nos. 25, 26, etc. for the 2005 survey).  I think you will also find their background papers on survey methodology interesting, if you haven't already seen them.

And if you allow, I would hope in future that rather than draw a priori conclusions about others' motivations, you will try and focus on the actua  output.

  Best wishes for 2007,

  T. Wolf
