ODM-K USA AND DAVE ARUNGA FUND-RAISING ANNOUNCEMENT SCAM

I read with dismay, the series of fund-raising program announcements made by the ODM-K officials in the USA, led by Hon Chairman of ODM-K USA, Mr Joshua Obell. The same announcement came simultaneously with Mr Dave Arunga's announcement to luo Nyanza aspirants to fund-raise for Hon Raila's campaign kitty.

The ODM-K, USA, clearly indicates that they will fund-raise for Hon Raila's campaign to win the ODM-K Presidential nomination. This is a true, transparent corruption and scam of the highest level to implicate Raila's name with unwise campaign fraudulent group of shameless opportunists, and amateur political activists led by Dave Arunga's tactical selfish tendency in recruiting fundraiser political commission agents across, Kenya, USA and Europe, who have links with the present and former corrupt agents of Kibaki and Moi's regimes.

The true supporters of Raila's Presidential bid must cease to associate with the ODM-K USA/Canada and Dave Arunga's ill motivated fund-raising scam, since these group of masqueraders want to antagonize and frame Raila as an imposer, a dictator and nepotist who appoints his fellow luos across the world to intimidate other ODM-K Presidential Candidates in diaspora and homeland, using the ODM-K helm against them, before the nomination of the flag bearer is determined through the democratic process laid by ODM-K officials in Kenya. This tactics are commonly applied by tyrants not civilized and transparent in the democratic method we fought for, or expecting from Raila Odinga's leadership in Kenya.

Dave Arunga has entrenched himself to the point that he is too arrogant and disrespectful to voters who question his integrity and honesty in this scheme by calling them FOOLS and that he cannot ague with fools. His nepotist behavior is felt from USA to Switzerland, and other parts of Kenya.

We have a report of how the Raila supporters from Gussi-land and Kuria-land vehemently complained to Raila recently about the frustration they are subjected to by Arunga and his cronies in Kenya. He has made himself RAILA NO 2.

The ODM-K USA, must be answerable to ODM-K secretariat in Nairobi, not Dave Arunga. Theirs is an unethical and illegal commercial, political, business acts. They must give account of all the funds raised since theirt inception and support all the ODM-K Candidates from the regions of Kenya ( Ruto-Rift Valley, Mudavadi-Western, Kalonzo-Eastern, Uhuru-Central, Balala-Coast). All funds raised under ODM-K USA must be equally distributed to all the Presidential aspirants in Kenya. If not, this group is worth being investigated.

The only legitimate Raila's supporters in diaspora and home land are Raila007, led by Dr George Ko'Mburo in USA, so those who would want to contribute towards Raila's bid for ODM-K nominations should distinguish between the two.

I agree, that the democratic space accepts lobbying for one's choice, even before the nomination. This is very healthy and thus the lobby group Raila007 or any other have the right to fund-raise for choice for Presidential nomination bid at ODM-K.

Any funds channeled to ODM-K USA officials must be accountable to the ODM-K secretariat or else it is a scam, and exhortation of public funds chargeable in the court of law.

The same warning goes to Dave Arunga. He has no mandate to interfere with democratic process and space in Luo Nyanza by posing a financial tag on the aspirants, as qualification for nomination. What if the Anglo- leasing or Goldenburg funds gets its way to Raila's campaign docket ? Who will screen the funders ? We witnessed Patni and Jaramogi case on Bonchari by-election 1992. The Kshs 2m Goldberg funds saga was brought as campaign donation to Jaramogi. It was too expensive working on damage control than if we would have just rejected the money. How will Raila control such damage at such a short time if all the presidential candidates ask him to give account of all the funds he raised in USA to be shared among them?

Mr Dave Arunga should also bear in mind that Luos are not on auction to the highest bidder to represent them in Parliament. They want leaders who can develop their land not millionaires. Democracy projects are for all Kenyan tribes. The Luos like any other tribe have the right to support their own, but they should not be frog matched.

Finally, the LUOCOME, fully appeal to all Luos, to give Raila what it takes to win the up coming nomination of ODM-K. Below I have attached Mr Arunga's email. Is this type of person who can fetch votes for Raila ?

I would also like to appeal to all Kenyans to vote for Raila Oginga in the coming ODM-K nomination. I strongly believe he has what it takes to lead Kenya. He has shown the ability to bring all the regions together. However Kenyans should try to isolate Kikuyus by calling for Majimbosm. This will give Ruto, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Balala to set Regional Governments to forge quick economical recovery for their respective Provinces, under Federal State of Kenya.

The realignment as already been felt in this duration of nomination campaign for ODM-K flag bearer, Kenyan will vote according to regions. Why not make it a reality and have Federal constitution now.
