[Jambo] Why?

The word of God describes a fool as one who has the following attitude:

Psalm 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;there is no one who does good.

According to Luke 12:16-21(the parable of the Rich Fool)Jesus described a fool as one who fails to take note that all that he is and has belongs to God.

You and I are not fools because we know without question that:

1.For in Him we live and move and have our being(Acts 17:28).
2.In the beginning,God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).
3.For the living know that they will die(Ecclesiastes 9:5).
4.Man is but a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes(James 5:13-17)
5.Heaven and earth will pass away,but the word of God will live for ever (Mathew 5:18)

If it's true that heaven and earth will pass away,then what's our destiny? I will let Jesus answer this question.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son,and whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life(John 3:16)

Let not your hearts be troubled.Trust in God,trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms;If it were not so I would have told you.I am going there to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am (John 14:1-3).

But how real is this heaven thing? Check out the following:

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God;then he was no more,because God took him away.

Mathew 17:1-3 After six days,Jesus took with him Peter,James and John the brother of James...There he was transfigured before them...Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah,talking with Jesus.

Mathew 27:52-53 The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.They came out of the tombs and after Jesus'resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

So according to the sure word of God,Enoch,Elijah,Moses and many other holy people are already in the place called heaven,God's dwelling place.

Now my dear friend with all this rich information,why is it that:
1.we love the prince of darkness more than we love our God?
2.We spend most, if not all our money in things that will most definitely perish instead of giving to the cause of God?
3.We have hardened our hearts such that any mention of any thing to do with God annoys us?
4.We love this world with all our heart when we know without any question that it's a matter of time before this world comes to an end.
5.We love to read all other books but the word of God?
6.We have time for movies,games,bars,clubs,work, but always come up with excuses for not going to church?
7.Why do we hate those that we plan to spend eternity with?
8.How come we are not actively involved in the salvation of our brothers and sisters?

WHY!!!!
