Kenya developement fund

Dear All:
We just finished a powerful conference organised by TASC (Tallahassee African Sister City Coalition) in which Raila was present. It was a meeting attended by powerful personalities with impeccable passionate African patriotism. The details of which I will forward to interested parties.

We agreed that economic empowerment of a community is the way forward. The government may not have enough power to extinguish the fire of money from a one all powerful economic powerhouse with tentacles all over the world. This powerhouse can be built from the Africans in the diaspora.

I was much more interested in the Kenyan chapter of this diaspora which I believe that based on the discussions we have here is already in place. Just think about it, if every Kenyan in the west contributed $1000 to a fund, we can buy whatever we own apart of kenya including a bank and we can be able to influence even presidential elections or lobby for our interests.

For most people in this forum a $1000 is not much but communally this money can move mountains. The best part of it is that it is not just a charitable contribution. It is an investment. You will own the organization. People will start buying shares from the fund. I believe this can be achieved during our time.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is a viehicle we can jumpe in here through TASC. It must not leave us behind. Please let me hear from those who think that this could be a good idea then I will talk to those with the blue print to have us as the kenyan chapter and circulate the details to you all. Simply, write your name, your profession, your email address and your physical address. I will forward this to TASC and you will be included in the committee that will be discusiing the Kenyan chapter. The idea was hatched in the TASC. Its still at infancy and still being discussed further.

TASC is an honorable organization started by Dr. Butler, a very honest PANAFRICAN. He loves Africa to death. He has the right connections to make this happen. It is time for kenyans to own kenya.

Just to add: I circulated this statement to friends who are discussing the logistics already. After 100 people respond, we will have a conference call or a real conference and chart the way forward.
