Sorry, I have not seen sufficient information to make Njuguna qualified for the job of Central Bank Governor. PhD In Economics alone is NOT a sufficient qualification.

What branch of Economics did he excel and specialize in? And what is his track record in Monetary affairs and Fiscal Management? What are his strengths in Monetary theory and Practice, and what are his views on deficit Finance, Pensions Reform, Financial Markets, exchange rates, etcetera.

We are entitled to have the same information, which the appointing authority had, as stake holders. Does he have strength of Character for the job? Can he be manipulated like Kotut? Is there no qualified experienced Economist and Banker in Kenyan Banking system?

Why couldn't he give the job to Anyan'g Nyong'o then, who authored Recovery Strategy for Kenya after years of KANU-including Kibaki_ mismanagement?
