KRA appointments nmatunda wrote: Jagwassi, Clearly, you don't read well what I write; be more diligent. I never said that there hasn't been impropriety in govt appointments. I simply asked people to ensure that their arguments have the right context. A person posted a list that suggested that all govt positions were occupied by Kikuyus; another person posted a list (which I forwarded from Mashada.com) that suggested otherwise. And I said that is the wrong approach. If we are beating Kibaki on tribalism, let have the entire slate of senior appointments (not skewed lists) and then argue that with respect to % occupation there is a disproportionate number of one ethnic group compared to the others. That is is genuine debate. And I have argued that it is NOT enough to condemn; let's go beyond that and propose as well: the changes we can do to ameliorate the situation and ensure that it doesn't happen for we know too well that as long as things remain the same, whoever comes to power will use the same power in the same manner.
