Re: [KOL] The Debate on Regionalism Oketch, Everybody would like a perfect Kenya where tribalism is none existent and resources are divided equally. However, that is not possible, given the nature of human beings. We have experimented with nationalism for 40 years and we are getting worse-not better. There is no need continuing blindly pursuing this mirage. Why don't we just accept the reality and implement majimbo. See, Majimbo will need a lot of work to implement, but we know we have no choice. The smart think to do is to start phasing in Majimbo now instead of wasting time with the pipe dream of a "Kenya without tribalism and where resources are distributed equally". No country like that exist on this earth and the notion that Kenyans are going to be the first is laughable. We will still be Kenyans and proud of our country under the Federal Republic of Kenya. Then we can expand into Uganda and Tanzania and maybe one day we will talk about the Federal Republic of East Africa, then a Republic of Central Africa running from Congo in the West to Ethiopia and Somalia in the East Coast.
