YOUR LUO REGIONALISM CAMPAIGN

I have chosen to write to you to inform you that your vision of regionalism is nonsense.

Your claim that Luos are the poorest of Kenya’s tribes is self deluding. What about Kambas and Somalis and Kikuyus from Nyandaruya and Molo, and Luyhas from the sugar belt? What about Kisiis from Bomachoge?

This belief of yours that there are common Luo economic and political interests is downright unintelligent.

This claim that Luos are a tribe is totally obtuse. Do you even know the origin, connotation and meaning of a tribe? This Eurocentric and demeaning insult of our people that you now bandy around is very demeaning.

Now that you say you are in the Diaspora, what common interests do you have with Luos than I, a Kisii who is educating many Luo children in Homabay High school my former school?

I am getting very interested in this cheap and unfounded arguments and I will be listening carefully as you continue to insult the intelligence of Kenyans.

If we have a problem with Kibaki’s class dictatorship, we should not extend it to criminalize a whole ethnic community called Kikuyus and heightening stupid calls for Luo and Kisii and Kamba regionalism.

I am lucky we do not have you here in Kenya where the struggles are very enlightened.
