Yala Swamp

I'm not from Yala or anywhere near the swamps but I'm a Kenyan and I'm an avid reader of issues aired by wannainchi such as this one. In this particular regard to leasing the swamps to foreign developers for twenty five years and relocating citizens from their ancestral lands. How absurd for those that support such actions that will impact their heirs for generations to come.

Kenya was once colonized not too long ago, how come some of us have not shaken that mentality. It's about time people with authority step up and realize what they're doing to the country.

Please let it be known for a fact, after twenty five years, the land taken from the citizens in the name of development is forever gone and will not be owned again for life times to come by the people. These lands will be owned by foreigners and they will after a while make it their own homesteads. Africa is being sold away piece by piece. Let those that have sane minds wake up now or forever forsake your ancestral lands for temporary gains.
