The Truth about Raila Odinga's Visit to North Carolina.

To Raila supporters and enemies like Achuth: This is the truth about his visit to North Carolina on Saturday, March 3rd and 4th 2007.

Agwambo flew US Airways to Charlotte Douglas international airport, the plain touched the ground at 3.25pm.

He had meetings with black caucus in Charlotte until 6.30pm. After the meeting we drove to my house where we had a very delicious dinner with Osewe, Tindi, Ogola and other friends. ODM-K meeting that Achuth is referring to was canceled last week end February 24th when the organizers realized that Raila could not make it to Durham due to his commitments in Charlotte.

Raila2007 has no office in the Carolinas so the conflict that Achuth is talking about has no basis and more so this was the first time ODM-K was going to be inaugurated in North Carolina and because it did not happen ODM-K has no representatives in North Carolina.

I can read on the lines that Achuth has problems with Joshua Obel and John Akumu but writing these lies below negates any good intentions that he may have.

Here are the facts: Around 1.30pm Obell called from Baltimore that Jakom has already boarded the plane. Obel and John and other people were on the way driving to Durham North Carolina. Driving from DC area to Durham is four and a half hours. Flying from Baltimore to Charlotte is one and a half hours, so Agwambo got to Charlotte way before Obel got to Durham.

And driving from Durham to Charlotte is two hours. Obel and his group did not come to Charlotte. Agwambo slept in Charlotte, then was driven to Durham the next day by Osewe.

Agwambo was a key speaker in African Unity Day celebration in Durham. This had nothing to do with Raila 2007 nor ODM-K. Agwambo left RDU on monday afternoon for Tallahasee, Florida. At that time, Obel and his group had driven back to Maryland. So which airport was Obel chased away at?

Raila stands for truth, he abhors lies and I am sure Achuth knows that. So wuod Luo, if you want to "fwambo, keyo and fuong'o malicious lies in the name of Raila Odinga, then you are his enemy number one. Camouflaging your name does not protect your identity. Anybody who cares to find out who you are can do so by tracing your IP address through your ISP. And be advised that slandering some ones name publicly is a crime.

It is stupid and shameful that some people have educated brains but they lack common sense.

Why can't ODM-K and Raila 2007 get along? They are fighting for the same cause. If Raila fails to capture the presidency, then it will be because of you big mouths, no vote getters who are so ready to malign him on petty stupid village talks.

For your information Sunday, meeting in Durham was very successful. More than four hundred people attended. And after Agwambo's speech, we had a snack brake, then Agwambo addressed Kenyans and answered questions. In attendance were Akinyi Walkoa, Milly Odhiambo, Rechou Shebes, Dr.Wariara Mbugua of UN-NY, Marriam Omala, African Union Rep. in NY, Hon. David Price US congress house Rep. and Durham mayor William V. Bell.
