This is precisely the kind of thinking some of us fight against. It is regressive - promoting undemocratic politics that has dogged Nyanza. It is xenophobic - "everyone is out to get us" mentality. It creates a sense of helplessness that does not appreciate our own initiative. Luos have never had a king and Raila will not be the first.

I actually do not think the writer is serious; this would be laughable but for the fact that there are people who buy into such myopic reasoning.
