Nyando Christian Voters Rejects Miguna Miguna's Huminist Agenda as Fred Waga star rises in Diaspora

Nyando District is the Bible belt of of Luo land and has the highest Christians percentage believers in the entire Luoland. It has been named “Jerusalem of Nyanza”. At the beginning of the coming of Christianity in late 1800's and till the realignment, the springing up of the African indigenous Churches and the revolutionist church veterans hailed from Kano in Nyando.

During the great split of the Anglican church led by Arch-Bishop Dr Abednego Mathew Ajuoga in 1956, the original dioceses headquarters of Church of Christ in Africa (CCA) was founded in Kobura, Masogo in Kadibo Division-Nyando District. Arch-Bishop Ajuoga was backed with the late Rev Father Nelson Oyieke Ogwe from Kamagaga-Kano, the grandfather of controversial Rev Okoth Otura currently living in self-exile in Canada.

Pre-Independence preachers as the Late veteran doyen of opposition Dadan Kaggia founded his ministry in Kabar-Miwani Division, along side the late Rev Oki Ombara from Kabar-Kano and Rev Wachara Onga'ny from Kobura-Kano. This movement led to the birth of Voice of Salvation and Healing Church (VOSH), popularly known as DUOND WARUOK, now being led by Arch-Bishop Silas Owiti from Kochogo-Kano and Power of Jesus around the World headed by Arch-Bishop Dr Washington Ogonyo Ngede of Kolua-Kano.

The great split of the Catholic Church started in Mbaga Hill in Alego-Siaya by Sister Aoko in 1950's the movement which finally landed in Wawidhi-Watobori-Kano, the home of the late Holy Father Melkio Ondeto (Baba Messiah) of Legion Maria, who became it's leader till his death. It is still believed that he was a political seer of the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, and died from food poisoning at the height of call for multy-Party system.

Messiah Ondeto was buried in God Kwer in Kadem-Nyatike, the New Jerusalem, against the wishes of his brother, Arch-Bishop Opiko in Watobori-Kano, who still wants his remains to be return to Kano. Rev. Opiko’s fight is being backed by Fred Waga, aspirant for Nyando living in USA, Rev Okoth Otura Luocome-Canada, Mr Onyango Midika former regioanl Minister, Mzee Adell Kitoto-Chairman Riwruok Dongo Kano Manyien and Hon Eric Nyamuga. The odd Kano man out in this fight is Miguna Miguna, who dismisses this move as silliness.

The late Omumbo Acholla of Roho Israel, hails also from Koluo-Kano. His sect was related to the late Elijah Masinde. Our investigation found out that the Kano Clan is 98% Christian and the majority of Luoland Church leaders hail from here also with their International Headquarters based in Kisumu. Even the assistant to Arch-Bishop Zachauez Okoth of Catholic Church is from Kabonyo-Kano although Okoth himself is from Nyakach.

With such overwhelming Christianity in the constituency that Miguna Miguna intends to contest for parliamentary elections, it does not make sense whatsoever how he would expect believers to chose a non believer, when they have all the rest of the contestants who are Christians to chose from! At his newly inaugurated website (www.migunamiguna.com), he states that he is a humanist followed by tough and harsh terms of condition for visitors to his compaign website. Jo-Kano are astounded with his confession which makes him odd among the God fearing Kenya politicians, Raila Odinga included.

Humanist are not guided by Christian principles, and generally propagate their secular humanism as the core standard to deal with the public affairs. This philosophy denies God, Christ and the Bible and removes God's standards, giving man freedom to substitute his own standards of morality and disallow the divinity of Christ and His completed work on the cross. Then there is no longer any need for God and His atoning grace. The moral compass points to what is right in the eyes of each individual without respect to God's standards.

Humanists also claim that everything exists in Nature, and that Nature itself is a controlling intelligence (an early form of pantheism), follow the atomic theory and materialism. Miguna rejects supernatural concepts — if there are gods, he said, they are made out of the same stuff as the rest of us. Will Raila, who recently accepted Christ as his personal saviour associate with someone of such faith in his team to parliament or presidency?

Meanwhile, another dynamic Diaspora Nyando candidate living in USA, Fred Waga’s star is rising promptly among the Kano people in Diaspora after he presented a power point presentation on the revival of Irrigation Scheme in the entire Kano during the recently concluded Luo Diaspora meeting in Oklahoma. Our source revealed that Doc Odotte, the NJ-USA vibrant political strategist has combined forces with Fred Waga in cohorts with Dr Barack Abonyo, Florida- USA and Rev Okoth Otura-Canada, to mobilize all the Kano Diaspora across the world in readiness to woo investors to Kano. This came in the wake of the recent call for Luo Diaspora transformation initiatives headed by Elisha Obongo of Texas-USA.
