WOOS OF A NAIROBI BASED CONSULTANT DEEPENSE After allegedly being swindled 2.4 m by his brothers in-law, the Nairobi based consultant Benson Onyango Osuga’s problems seems to be worsening day by day. For starters, the London school of economics graduate engaged two Nairobi based advocates Willis and Ochieng Nyamogo (operating under the flagship Nyamogo and Nyamogo Company Advocates) who happen to be his brothers in-laws to facilitate a land sale agreement of LRNO 7785/652 way back in May 27th 2005 amounting to a staggering 3.4. But interestingly and shockingly, only a paltry 1 million was received by the hapless soft spoken consultant without his knowledge. The wife of Mr. Osuga, Mrs. Jenipher Onyango Osuga who is working with CONSAN which an Irish NGO based in Sudan, is the younger sister of the two Nairobi based lawyers who carried the dubious transaction which has sparked fury in the entire county and legal fraternity. By the time the transaction was being done Osuga and his wife had developed acrimonious marital differences, no wonder the transaction process hit turbulence and apparent conspiracy to fraud him. When a section of the press highlighted the frustrations of the consultant last month, he started receiving threatening calls warning him not to continue confiding his woos. And in a bid to cow and divert his attention, the two lawyers (in-laws) have again written to Osuga in a letter dated March 13th 2007 through Onsando Ogonji and Tiego Advocates advising him to apologize. To tighten his noose further, Osuga has been taken to Nairobi Children’s Court on 3rd of May 2007 to compel him to part with some cash for upkeep of his children who are above 20 years. The money hungry cartel seems to be strategizing and angling themselves for Osuga’s other property situated in the heart of the capital Nairobi at all cost. One of the advocates Ochieng Nyamogo is a Parliamentary hopeful in Alego Usonga constituency in Nyanza Province, but dubious antics of such magnitudes will definitely deter his bid this time round as previously witnessed, according to keen political pundits.
