Re: DEFENDERS OF DOMINION - Tribalism as an excuse

Orina,

Thank you for pointing out to my brothers that all Kenyans (and not only the Luo people) have suffered due to poor government policies and the politics of "kaeni vile mlivyo." The reason why Dominion is using the tribal card is because they have understood that Kenyans will defend the devil if told that the other tribes want to take the valuable devil from them.

During the so called cooperation (Kanu/NDP) we were promised milk and honey. We rallied Behind Raila and Kanu. In the end, the real beneficiaries of the cooperation were not the ordinary Otieno and Akinyi. It is the politicians who were rewarded with cabinet appointments and the allocation of the Kisumu Molasses Plant land to the Odingas. We were just a door mat that politicians used to clean their feet as they entered the big house to enjoy ugali with Baba Moi. If anybody knows any gains from the cooperation please inform us.

The Dominion issue smells the same as the cooperation. Dominion has been elevated to be property of Luos which it is not. Those defending it want us to see it as our own and those opposing the exploitation as traitors who are acting on behest of the Kikuyu. This is what they call devide and rule 101.

I hope that my brothers will look at this issues devoid of their tribal glasses. May be then we will wheigh the pros and cons of the project.

Jackton
