Rispa is now dead following a domestic dispute with her Ugandan husband just 6 months after she got married in a grand wedding in Kenya.

I hope that by sharing this story it will trigger in each of you the spirit of reaching out. I am certain that domestic violence is happening more and more in immigrant communities.When victims have nowhere and no one to turn to they may end up dead like Rispah. So, if you know anyone who is in a situation that threatens their safety and livelihood then find it within yourself to reach out to them, it is no longer acceptable to "mind your own business" we MUST look out for each other and rescue those who are bound in the shackles of domestic violence
