origins of the various sub-communities

The problem is some parents. Most of them paro ni ng'eyo dholuo kata any african language is primitivity. Language is culture and it should be nurtured.There is no primitive or civilised language as most africans, especially luo's think.

But even the swahili some of young people speak is broken one .In fact it is the so called sheng'. It doesn't add any flavour in the development of culture as africans.

Parents who think that talking in English or sheng is the measure of intelligence in the society are misguided. After all most masters of the queens language in this country speak fluently in luo. Somebody like PLO, Benard Otieno, LOUIs OTIENO and even politicians brilliant scholars like James Orengo, Anyang Nyongo, Arthur Obel.
