[Jambo] Nyachae Retiring Tebiti, You must have gotten me wrong if it appears that I am saying that Nyachae is the ONLY politician retiring with a very clean bill of public life. I am not even saying that he is going out with a clean bill. What I said was that, unless proved otherwise, Nyachae's public record is one that eschews CORRUPTION despite decades of participation in public life. From your posting, I gather a couple of things. First, you seem to put a lot of credence in the Martha Karua List of Shame. Did you know that the list has been referred to as KARUA'S SHAM LIST OF SHAME? If it had teeth, it would detail what corrupt practices the listed individuals participated in. Karua's Justice Department, Wako's Attorney General department and Ringera's KACA would have taken action. The second thing I see is that you seem to equate wealth with corruption. So because Nyachae, Kangwana and Moody Awori are rich means that they must be corrupt!! Nothing would be further from the truth. I agree with you on Jeremiah Nyagah. I wish that Kenyan politicians did not hang on too long until they muddy their record, if any, and get booted out by the electorate. Nyachae's retirement is maybe long overdue. It is good that he is retiring. Thanks. Michoma Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
