Tuju vs Raila? Not A Chance!

Mr. Owuor,

We are two people looking at the same picture or cake but viewing it differently. You look at it in terms of politics and I look at it in terms of human development of which access to some of these necessities is a part of it, and of which I strongly feel and believe members of parliament are issued funds to satisfy this development urge or need - and that is why they are voted in by members of their constituency.

Public services or development projects, all add up to human development when provided as should be. Yes, I agree with you that Raila is representing the people by advocating for and advancing the wishes of the people, but my problem with Raila is he needs to come a step lower and also satisfy the common man's thirst of a better standard of living. He seems to forget about the "NOW" aspect of human development. As you're looking for a better future, satisfy what you can now. And that is what I feel Raila lacks. He can see far into the future and fights to get there, but forgets that he needs to also take a look right down at his foot, coz there are still things that need to be accomplished right under his feet.

We are a democratic country and we all support different leaders for different reasons - we cannot all have the same point of view. As long as the reason is right and for the good of the people, everyone can voice out their man or woman - and that is why we vote.

Nyar Ugenya
