Jorarieda: Uneno Tuju Nade? From: Obungaslytheron An kaka jaluo ago ero kamano kwom this web site. Straight to my point. Jorarieda, I'm, not here to either defend or accuse Honorable Tuju of anything. I'm only going to voice my opinion based on what I perceive to be a great record for any MP in Luo Nyanza. At no time have we ever had an MP who achieved so much in such a short time. Mr Tuju, even after finding himself isolated by his own constituents, has still maintained a remarkable development record. For the first time after years of empty promises from his predecessors, we the Rarieda people finally have electricity! At one time it seemed like a distant dream, but now it has happened. Schools attended by our fathers seemed to never come out of the 20th century until now. The water project that was stagnant is now working at full capacity. The youth have actually been employed by some of these projects. Let's not forget his efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS. There are people who have been employed in this edevour too. What's more, lives have been saved by this valuable information and education service. Rarieda is also one of the areas in Kenya that can boast a mobile clinic! Mr Tuju, as you may well know, is not well liked in Rarieda. Indeed in the whole of Nyanza, it would be difficult to find a significant following for the man. Personally I find him arrogant and detestable. He is not exactly a people person. However, nyikwa Ramogi, Let's be fair and call a spade a spade. The man has done a good job. Having heard some of his achevements, I would like you as a constituent of his, indeed as a true Kenyan who craves development, to judge for yourself if he deserves another stint as MP. If you feel that he has done what he promised his people would you not vote him back in? Not withstanding his political affiliations, he has done well. The sad thing now is that he will probably never get another chance at the job? Is it not time we voted with a clear mind? Should we not be more concerned with his record rather than whose boots he licks? Now I respect Honorable Raila and support him fully in his endeavors, but however you look at it Mr Tuju has done more for us than Raila has. Now my fellow Rariedans, indeed my fellow Kenyan, it is time we stop this foolish politicking. The man has done a good job and deserves another chance. That is the long and short of it. He has not betrayed us. Rarieda is not a Party, it is a people. Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
