Re: [KOL] Re: ANOTHER POLL---[LATEST] New poll supports Kibaki's style Interesting results. I can tell you with facts, because I come from the most populated constituency in Kenya. And I know what I am talking about. First, we have never seen nor heard that one of our own has been polled in Embakasi, yet, we are the biggest in numbers. Then I can confirm this, people in Embakasi laughed when, once again, Man Obako was being imposed on us Kenyans as the man to beat. The only difference now was that Strategic decided to match Kibaki against Kibaki. They did not match him to anybody in the presidential race. If you are competing against yourself, you must win. Otherwise I would have wanted to see how The Hon Raila, Kalonzo and the rest faired. That was not there. New technology of polling! Then as Meshack pointed out, what parameters were used that saw Kibaki coming from 51% that he was recently given, to an all time high of 65%? But as Kenyans on the ground, we are not worried. We will consign this man with all his opinion polls to bus number 44 to Othaya. We would be glad to have him safely at home by 11.00am. What Kenyans must do is simple; come out in large numbers on that date in December, and finish the job by 10.30am. It is now becoming apparent that we must vote like we have never done before. because we must prove these opinion polls fake, just like we did at the referendum. Nothing has changed. And we must do it as early as possible. There in now new urgency to take this man to Othaya earlier. 1] Airport rehabilitation tender is awarded to a bidder at Kshs 840m, and with all ease, the same tender is changed to Kshs 10b. b for a Billion . And the opinion polls give the man all the marks! 2] Tribalism; we put Kibaki into office to eradicate tribalism. But instead, the man has resurrected tribalism to a level never seen in Kenya before. And the polls give him all the marks! 3] Corruption; we put Kibaki into office to eradicate corruption. But instead, corruption became domiciled at Kibaki's State House . All the mega scandals have been planned by his men. And the polls give him all the marks! 4] Constitution; we put Kibaki into office with a solemn promise of enacting a new constitution in 100 days. That has not been achieved, as Tegi Obanda would say, he still wants a new constitution. And the polls give him all the marks! 5] Equality; we put Kibaki into office so that he could help bring in equality. But the man has presided over a system where he only sees some small region of Kenya for all appointments, tender awards, contracts, etc. Kenya has become a Banana Republic, and the polls still give him all the marks! 6] Cabinet; Kenyans wanted a lean efficient cabinet, which Kibaki also promised. But what do we have now? A working government which is a guzzler to our economy, and yet he is still given all the marks! 7] Price stability; we thought that the economist in Kibaki would bring down the prises of essential commodities to manageable levels. But alas, unga that was selling at Kshs 20.00 when Moi, with his modest education was in power, now sells at Kshs 80.00, thanks to the current economic genius. And yet the polls still award their marks! 8] Road side declarations; Kenyans were tired of road side declarations, and Kibaki said as much. But sadly enough, we still have more of those road side declarations where even new Districts are formed at will. And the polls still give their marks! 9] Economy; we wanted the man to fix our economy, but instead, he has only fixed his economy, and that of his friends. Kenyans are now more poorer. They walk to work, because the man they put in charge, even fixed the only organised transport we had in Nairobi. With the death of KBS, we are now saddled with conventional transport system, which functions at the whims of the owners, and yet the man is still given all the marks! My, what are these pollsters looking for? There is a litany of undone things, and Kenyans, especially those in the largest constituency, have never seen the face of a pollster. We do not know, as Kenyans, where these polls are conducted. So just like Steadman predicted a big Banana win at the referandum, we do not mind them building castles in the air. They will explain themselves after we have sent Kibaki into permanent retirement, so that he can also live peacefully with his children and grand children, as others ran the show.
