Re: [africa-oped] Opposition ignore Kibaki’s lead in opinion polls at its own peril Kuria-Mwangi, I have always respected Barrack Muluka and his writings. But on this one, he is off the mark. Was Barrack Muluka living in Kenya when the same same opinion polls kept telling us how project Uhuru under the tutilage of Moi, was going to win in 2002? Was Barrack Muluka living in Kenya when the same same opinion polls predicted that Kenya was going to become a Banana Republic in 2005? If they failed to give us a fair poll then, then what magic has Muluka seen in their new findings that is different from what they have been doing all along? And sadly, Barrack's piece is laced with tones of sour grapes. He looks like he has an axe to grind, or he is placing himself in the market. But all the same, polls or no polls, we at ODM-K know what the problem is, and we gonna fix it, and fix it well this time around. And we are calling on all Kenyans to see this government for what it is; man eat man government. Odhiambo T Oketch Komarock Nairobi Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
