Dominion Farm AGAIN! Dear Mr. Ombok, I am very surprised that you talk of Dominion in this manner. It is even worrying further to read that you are from Bondo. I visited Dominion farm at Yala Swamp in January of this year. What I saw is not close to the things other critics like you seem to have seen. I saw development, well dressed men and women, growth and a paid labour force. Given the opportunity, what would you have offered the people of the lake? No need to answer, we all know the answer. ADVICE: Go visit Kiambu Dam, Turkwell Gorge Dam and come back and tell us what similarities and differences you can locate. Well done Wanjiru, all the questions you have raised and provided answers for do not need any debates for the truth is that Dominion has made a change. Many people fear changes and more importantly those who revere changes most are the briefcase guys who got used to being treated like demi-gods by our villagers in times of difficulties. Dominion obviously is providing real economic freedom and many will not like it. The environmental programme that Dominion has provided is both coherent and practical. For example, the Green Zone that will not only provide raw material for anti-malaria drugs but also stop the dessertification of the area. Why have so many scientists and environmental specialist appeared as soon as Dominion Farms started development in Yala swamp? Where have you been hiding all these "TALENTS" and where were you when Moi was ruining every forest zone in our Country. Spare your talents for other parts of Kenya who surely are in need of your expertise. Do you think Turkana and Lake Turkana is a good enough challenge?
