My name is Otieno Ombok from Sakwa in Bondo. Everybody nowadays talks of thinking out of the box. Who took us into the box to begin with? The whiteman education brought the box. There are no round grass thatched houses in halem, but you will agree with me that those guys who cannot afford to heat there houses are poor. I have been to Halem and other parts of USA, Europe, Asia, Central and Latin America. Great roads and bridges and tall buildings are not development.

Take it from UNDP, Direct foreign investment has only increased poverty in the 3rd World. This is in their report of 2004. I have been to Yala several times, the situation is pathetic. I have dealt with multinationals before, they are very bad people including the Dominion. You were only taken for a PR exercise in Oklahoma. I suggest you facilitate one of yourselves to come to Yala for a first hand report.
