In neo-colonial Kenya, if you are an African Kenyan prospector of minerals, you are dubbed a "zurura", and you are arrested. But if you are a white foreigner, you are called "lord god", "investor", "artur", "jesus christ savior" --all doors-including state house- are opened for you.

CCR-Kenya condemns in the strongest term possible the abuse of human rights of the 45 prospectors being persecuted because of the color of their skin in their own country.

SHAME ON THE GOVERNMENT OF KENYA! SHAME ON ALL PARLIAMENTARIANS WHO HAVE DITHERED FOR 4 YRS AND HAVE FAILED TO DELIVER THE NEW CONSTITUTION TO KENYANS SO WE CAN HAVE BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS AND REGAIN OUR DIGNITY AS PEOPLE.

Release the 45 prospectors now!

We call for comprehensive constitutional rights now, so that Kenyans can gain control of their natural resources.

No comprehensive reforms, no elections!
