I have written several emails to share with you what is actually down here on the ground. I have noted that most of you people who hate Dominion do so out of sheer ignorance. Or maybe you are paid to bash the muzungu who is to us like a gift from God. We support him because we are seeing a change in our circumstances at last. Changes for the better.

Even the Muzungu never got where he is today without a few negative events. In development, there is always give and take. Our independence was not gotten freely. There were people who had to lose something in order to be very rich today, enjoying the fruits of Uhuru. Those fruits have taken a long time to reach our area here. It took Calvin Burgess to come all the way from America to cause electricity to come to our area and to open our understanding that there are better things in life than just being born, struggling through life with traditions and cultures that are stiffling, and finally, death.

We have never had much to celebrate. And even when we have something that can be celebrated, we have never had the wherewithal to do it. We have never learned to laugh. Now we can laugh from our stomachs through our throats and let it bubble out freely and with joy.

Why do you want to take it away? I am still awaiting any rejoinder from you people who are always against Dominion. Where are you?
