Re: [Jambo] Are Kenyans Secure: Of Kibera and the Arturs Brothers

Kibera happens to be a door mat that Raila uses to clean his shoes before taking his sit in parliament. It his his Kingdom where he doesn't have to do anything. All he has to do is show up on election day to collect what belong to him.

When there are any major celebrations in Raila's life, he doesn't celebrate with the people of Langata . His homecoming parties are held in Bondo as if he is the MP for Bondo. When he was appointed a minister by Baba Moi, he jumped into the choppers and went home like a president. Why did he pick Kisumu as the venue to celebrate this achievement and not Kibera ?

Raila plays what Kenyans call " siasa ya kaeni vile mlivyo." In this style of politics, you ensure that your constitutent's problems are never solved. You create a srawman and attribute all the problems to him. Once in a while you burn the strawman.

Sometime back, the government tried to build a police post in Kibera to address the security situation in the area. Raila led his Taliban goons -who were armed with pangas and stones- in destroying the police post. Police officers were injured in the fracas. Raila was proud of his action and promised the police that they will meet the same fate should they make such an attempt again. A few months later, Mungiki thus and Taliban were at war. The innocent villagers were caught in the middle. What did Raila do next? He balmed the GOVERNMENT for ignoring the security situation in Kibera! http://www.eastandard.net/archives/cl/hm_news/news. php? articleid=37245&date=2/3/2006

We have leaders and we have brilliant politicians. Raila happens to be a brilliant politician.
