Re: [Jambo] Yala Swamp aka Dominion Group Issue: Fail to Plan, Plan to fail From: John Mwaura Hi Guys, I have to say this discussion is stimulating; Kenya needs this kind of brains, people who are open to new ideas, ability to learn from other countries that have made their citizens a top priority. What’s my point here? Kenyans need a better transportation system, Security (a right to live safe and everywhere you want), and economy that can sustain its people. I bet you that if the leaders were to put greed away and focus on the strengthening the economy; we have the ability of becoming one of the best economies in the world. This thing of you are a Kikuyu,Luo,Kisii or whatever you want to call yourself is driving us back to stone age! We need a new breed of Kenya who are proud of their county and focused on the future for the sake of our children (privately be proud of whom you are but make it your business). I live in Maryland and when I meet a Kenyan I really don’t care where they are from, just a Kenyan flag sticker gets me excited at least I feel like I’m home. The heck if the met someone from Uganda or Tanzania I feel like I know them. All this guys ruling Kenya are either old and or belongs to a family of power, Kibaki, Uhuru, Raila, Mudavadi, and Awori (VP). The big boys who grew up with power (in powerful families) and are actually drunk of power and arrogance. What a shame that they are driving Hummers and abusing their offices, while others own big farms. Members of Parliament are earning over $10000 a month ($350 a day) while majoring of Kenyans are living on less that $5 a day ($150 a month). Guys our countries have been hijacked by greed and we are being used and divided on Tribal lines! With the famous phrase OUR PEOPLE WANT TO SHARE THE NATIONAL CAKE well that’s all good but its ends up that only a few benefit as most of us and our parents languish in poverty as they drive and live in absolute wealth.
