Dear Friend,
An army of Obama volunteers are getting ready to Walk for Change on June
9. These folks will go door-to-door, signing up new volunteers, raising money
from supporters, and spreading Barack’s message of change in neighborhoods
across the country.
Local organizers have planned more than 1,000 walks
in all 50 states -- and now they need your help. Will you contribute $50
or even $100 to help provide them with the materials they need to build the
movement?

There is no better way to make real change
than a face-to-face conversation. Your donation will sponsor local
organizers as they go door-to-door in their communities, talk to their neighbors
about Barack, and share our message of hope with hundreds of thousands of
people in a single afternoon.
For good reason, too many people have become cynical
about what politics can achieve in this country, and as result they have
turned away in frustration. We need to reach out to these people and show
them politics can change; America can change.
Put the message of hope in the hands of
a volunteer who is determined to make a difference by making a donation right
now:

Here's what volunteers across the country are saying
about this event:
Andrea -- Walk for Change host
in Grand Rapids, MI
"We are holding an organizers meeting on Wednesday. We're going to get
together, make some flyers and talk about what we want to accomplish for
the June 9th walk. My group is going to start off in downtown and go outwards
from there. I'm really excited. I've gotten a lot of enthusiasm from people."
Adrienne -- Walk for Change host
in Tumwater/Olympia, WA
"I'm just trying to spread the word and help out. I like his honesty,
I like how he wants to unite the country. I know he's had a lot of grassroots
support and it feels great to be a part of it. I think I can help just by
letting people know more about him. There are a dozen people who are committed
to showing up and we're going to set up a table at the local farmers market
afterwards. A lot of people can become more informed. It's nice to be able
to be there and inform people about him in person."
Calysta -- Walk for Change host
in Los Angeles, CA "This is the first time in my life where I really felt
like I could take part in the American dream. I am African American and organizing
in South LA. When people see me walking the street and participating, they'll
see that they can do it too. I'm 30 years old and a lot of my friends are
politically dead and I am hoping people will see what I'm doing and join
in too. I'm hoping that the spirit of community action is contagious. This
has already changed the face of politics and set a new standard for our country."
Help support Andrea, Adrienne, Calysta, and the
organizers of more than 1,000 neighborhood walks. Make sure they have the
brochures, signs, envelopes, water, and energy they need to make Walk for
Change a success:
