Ogwan'g Rach Kochiel gi Mo I think you are trying to create a Raila we do not know. Forthrightness is a virtue and not a weakness. His Luo Heritage demands that he fights his battles in the open. The problem is that he is in wrong company: None of his fellow Chiefs enjoys popular endosement within any constituency. Even if Raila wins the nomination, none of these Chiefs can assure him a raft of votes from thier Houses. In their current dance and ocassional tantrum, each of them hopes that Raila will wake up one morning and declare that "So and So Tosha." That is their game. My advice to Raila is that he should go all the way. At least this time around. A man cannot be a Kingmaker for ever, even though that is the most noble position to hold. The Luo say, Ogwan'g rach ka ochiel gi mo. How true. Joseph R Alila (Fifteen Curses on Mother Africa ISBN: 978-14303-1592-6) Alila Ramogi blog. Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
