Re: Hon. Raila Odinga's Vision for Kenya and Kenyans I read Raila's vision and I think that is by far the best and most comprehensive vision ever rolled in Kenya. Give credit where it is due. If Raila intends to do what he has stated in his vision, then Kenya would be a good place to live in and he would make a good President to the republic that Kenyans have always wanted since independence! In responding to Peter, While I do not agree with the implied reasoning within the context of your comments, a few things I would like to share with you to create awareness and remove this ignorant mentality from your mind. 1. You state that you have "heard" from others about the developments initiated by Kibaki government. You see, you have only heard and not witnessed. There is a big difference between the two. You need to go home and if you realize the development that you are purporting then I would advise you stay in Kenya and help develop the nation! 2. It seems like you reside in the US. The question is how come you are not back in Kenya, to enjoy the development. Personally I would not continue to live outside of Kenya if the environment is enabling and I agree with the incumbent administration. 3. You agree with the politics of the US where candidates go around during campaigns to articulate their visions and intentions. What is the difference with what ODM candidates are doing? Do you understand the role of spelling visions to the electorate at all? 4. Is your problem with vision articulation or competition against Kibaki government. I think that is what you need to address. 5. Finally, do not pretend to be speaking on behalf of some other people. Always speak for yourself without dragging others into such myopic reasoning.
