Kenyans will have another election come end of this year. They will do so under the current constitution! Even if you gave this current government another 5 years to rule Kenya, we will not have any new constitution, thanks to the current occupant of the house in the hill, who deliberately diverted the constitutional truck backwards after being elected in office.

The Bomas draft constitution was read and agreed before the 2002 election with Hon. Kibaki as one of the proponents, and the same guy now has powers to make it happen, but chose not to "deprive" himself of the enomous powers. He is to blame and no other Kenyan (Politician or otherwise)

I will say the same of the next president as well if they refuse to enact a new constitution. Plain and simple, and they will be out of the statehouse in one term only should they not address the constitutional order in Kenya. We all can take this to the bank.

Tegi, you must realize that you really look bad when you try to blame the opposition for the failures of a government in power. It is the opposition's side of the ball game to make them look bad becasue it will make the competion easier come the election, but it is the governments duty to Kenyans to deliver services, to protect them and their property, and also to convince the voters that they have represented their interests well enough to gain a node for a second term. Kibaki, Karua, and Kalembe and Karume, and Kirwa, Kitui all know this only too well. Let them carry the cross of their failure due to greed.
