Re: Hon. Raila Odinga's Vision for Kenya and Kenyans From: Lameck Siage Peter - or whoever you are! First, I must tell you that it is your democratc right to hold whatever views you choose to hold on any political party or candidate. No one will bite off your nose for that, so you can just come out and let us know who you are. You don't need to be ashamed of who you really are. Having said that, can you take a momment and respond to the following: 1. Can the people you talk to also tell you what happened to all the corruption cases that are making rounds between the KACC and the AG chambers? Surely they should know this as well as they know that electricity distribution is better now in Kenya than it was during the previous governments. 2. Can they also tell you at what point Kibaki and Kiraitu changed their position on the new peoples' constitution that was the bomas draft? Surely just before the 2002 election, these two DP leaders went full blast in the media to declare that the Bomas draft was good for Kenya, and they would enact it once Kenyans gave them power to do so as a government. 3. Can they also tell you that there is a defendable scientific proof that only Mt. Kenya region can produce competent Kenyans to hold key government positions on behalf of the rest of Kenyans. 4. Please also ask then to explain how the avarage Kenyan with the same avarage earning of Ksh. 150.00 a day has benefited from the so called government goodies if the cost of living has gone up 200% - the avarage Kenyan looks at the cost of living in terms of the price of maize flour, cost of paraffin, cost of sukuma wiki, and Waru, and transport to go to work and to take children to school, and house rent. Many Kenyans especially in the cities, cannot affort to force their young children to walk 5 kms to the so called free primary school facility on an empty stomach, and without paraffin to read and do homework. Simply put, can you seek balanced views on the issues they tell you, so that you don't appear to be misguided on the issues you choose to discuss. Better luck next time.
