CORRECTION!

In an article recently circulated, Kisumu Democracy Institute (KIDI) inaccurately gave the impression that Wanyiri Kihoro is now deceased.

We wish to clarify that it is Mr. Wanyiri's wife, Dr Wanjiru Kihoro, who passed way on October 12, 2006, after bravely fighting injuries sustained in 'the Busia plane crash'. The late Dr. Wanjiru, a hero in her own right, had been in a coma since the accident occurred on January, 24 2003.

Whereas this correction does not in anyway change the core of our original article, we deeply regret any pain or inconvenience the error may have caused Mr. Kinyoro, his family and friends.
