Re: Miguna's seal of approval-When was Miguna detained? With due respect, I stand by my opinions and refuse to fall into the trap of having a rejoinder for everything. Miguna has personally communicated his displeasure while reaffirming his past political activities. This did little to change my initial argument that Kenyan historical books and even public acknowledgement seem to have missed Miguna's 'famed' participation in anti-Nyayo activities. This observation does not in anyway dispute the fact that Miguna, like several other students, was seriously affected by Moi's dictatorial system. These 'titles' will be acknowledged by the wider community if and when they are due and not through intense personal marketing efforts. A noteworthy observation is that no such strong words as "character assassination" appear in Miguna's feedback. I believe he is willing to deal with both the 'goodies' and 'not-so-goodies' that come with seeking a public office. To me this is a difference in opinion. Period. - Simon Agwanda Owuor.
