Miguna's seal of approval-When was Miguna detained?

I've keenly followed your missive to Ndugu Nyaware about Miguna. I don't believe that the man Miguna has ever proclaimed himself a hero of Kenya's freedom movement at anytime. So it won't be of any value trying to research on him for inclusion in your list. The problem you are facing is that you have narrowed the focus of your work so much that it is hard to come up with objective documentation.

The fact is, Miguna Miguna contributed and continues participate in movement for general freedom in kenya. Miguna was a student leader at UON. He was arrested with other student leaders including Wafula Buke. Where do you think they were taken after the arrest? Definately not to HILTON. Ndugu they were detained at NYATI HOUSE and moved to KAMITI. I, among others rioted for five days to have them released.

Ndugu they were arreseted "for'" subversion, membership of proscribed group mwakenya. Yes they were TORTURED, ask TITUS ADUNGOSI if you can. I can't remember when MIGUNA was released but I know he was held long enough to warrant DETANTION WITHOUT TRIAL.

While at the SONU COUNCIL, Miguna was incharge of finance and USAB, a very powerfull committe. So Ndugu, Miguna fits the criteria for effective participation in movement for democracy.
