We should consider all options I believe like many of you that the fight we have put towards good governance in this Nation is not for nothing, and come to think about it; this may just be what it could achieve at this moment. None compromise and yearning for what is good for all of us, as opposed to what is best for us with total disregard to others' plight has been the drive in our action. I am talking about the position that has long been taken by the Luo community towards bad governance that is typical of many an African state; this has led to some kind of isolation from the communities whose Kings have benefitted from the state of affairs. Everyone appears to be focused on clinching an "opportunity to eat", one question I always ask is whether there is an iota of sincerity in the many candidates who want to be president of this Nation. In the normal meanings of a reasonable, rational and intelligent adult of a sound mind, which is what we expect of our honorable politicians in the ODM presidential race, they should be able to see who is the right candidate for the change that Kenyans want - not the person who can defeat Kibaki! (if that was ever true). It is not just about dislodging Kibaki out of power, I am a staunch ODM supporter but a rational Kenyan too. I belive that Mr. Kibaki is still better than most of those who want to be president through the opportunity presented by ODM-K. Please fellow Kenyans, if we really love this country, then we should learn to be rational in our decision making. If we cannot get the best candidate, then lets go for the next best, it is not about parties, settling scores or tribes....its is about Kenya.
